LQ: Pressure Switches

Description: Upon completion of this course the operating personnel will be able to define the functions of a pressure switch, define absolute and gauge pressure, discuss primary and secondary calibration standards, inspect, operationally test, and calibrate a pressure switch. The student will learn to document pressure switch calibration results, discuss the federal regulations that apply to the calibration and operational testing of pressure switches, and define and recognize abnormal operating conditions in pressure switches.
