Fundamentals OF Electricity

Description: This course covers basic properties of electricity and simple electrical equipment. Upon completion of this module the student will understand the basic properties of electricity, circuits, and safety device components. The student will understand Ohms Law and how to apply its principles to resistive circuits, will understand the processes used to measure voltage, current, and resistance, will learn to recognize the common electrical symbols and how they are incorporated into wiring and line diagrams, and will understand the principles of inductance and capacitance. The student will understand the principles of inductance and capacitance, will understand waveform properties and phase relationships, and will understand the properties and uses of transformers.
