Description:
This module focuses on the fundamentals of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Upon completion of this module the student will know the history of SCADA systems, will be aware of the basic office hardware components of a SCADA system, will understand the basic field hardware components of a SCADA system, and will understand the protocols and the parts of a SCADA system used to communicate with each other. The student will know the basics of installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting a SCADA system.
